Mrs. Nolen's 5th Grade

5th Grade math focuses on place value, fractions and decimals.  It is imperative that students know their multiplication tables inside and out, as these are fundamental to working with fractions.

The core of the PSSA is word problems.  Students will be expected to decipher multi-step word problems requiring them to perform multiple functions with fractions.  We will be practicing these skills throughout the year.
